Skanda Shashti 6 days Subramanya Archana Special 6 days Vel Archana, Bhasma Archana, and Shatru Samhara Trishati Homam for Courage to defeat enemies and attain protection from Lord Subramanya

⚔️ Invoke the Divine Blessings of Lord Subramanya on Skanda Shashti, the Day of Victory and Valor, and Overcome All Life’s Challenges 🙏

Skanda Shashti is a significant Hindu festival dedicated to Lord Skanda/Subramanya, observed on the Sashti Tithi of Shukla Paksha each month. It marks the moment when the fiery warrior son of Lord Shiva and Parvati descended to dispel darkness and destroy evil. Born from Shiva’s third eye, he was nurtured into the six-faced, twelve-handed deity Shanmukha/Arumugam.

Lord Subramanya is revered as the embodiment of courage, wisdom, protection, and divine knowledge. Worshipping him is believed to fulfill all wishes and destroy enemies. Born to defeat the demon Tarakasura, Subramanya emerged as the god of war, fulfilling a boon granted by Lord Shiva. Representing six siddhis, Lord Subramanya is revered as their bestower, especially in South India. According to legends, he emerged as one of the prominent deities in the southern direction after he chose to live in South India, leaving his heavenly abode.

From him emerged the six divine syllables – Sa Ra Va Na Ba Va, each representing his powerful six siddhis and his six radiant faces. In deep reverence, devotees observe Skanda Shashti through a sacred six-day journey of fasting and prayer, seeking inner transformation, cultivating goodness, strengthening willpower, burning away negativity, and crushing obstacles caused by enemies. Through these six sacred days, one strives to awaken the divine six within, paving the way for victory in all areas of life.

To honor this sacred occasion, Sri Mandir Puja Seva is organizing a powerful 6-day daily devotional offering of Vel Archana and Bhasma Archana to the Lord, until the day of Sakanda Shashti at the revered Etteluthu Perumal Temple in Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu.

– Bhasma Archana – for inner cleansing, purity, and divine protection
– Vel Archana – invoking Subramanya’s sacred spear for courage, clarity, and victory
– Shatru Samhara Trishati Homam – a potent fire ritual to burn away negative forces and eliminate enemies blocking progress

These rituals are magnified on the auspicious Skanda Shashti, making it the most ideal time to connect with Lord Subramanya’s transformative energy. By participating in these sacred sevas through Sri Mandi, invoke his blessings to overcome inner and outer battles, gain strength, and find peace.
